    Callers can leave you a message when you're not available.  Dial *98 to access voicemail from your Compton Home Phone. Press the flash button or briefly press the hook (hang up) button to move to the incoming call.  The first caller will hear a "Please Hold" message repeated while you talk to the second caller. *70 to disable call waiting (per call), *57 to disable indefinitely, *56 to re-enable.
    If your phone is equipped to handle call display, you'll see the name and phone number of your incoming caller. Before you dial, enter *67 and your caller ID information will automatically be blocked and not display to the person you are calling.
    If your phone can handle call display, then this feature will show the caller ID information of an incoming caller while you're on the phone.  You can decide whether to take the incoming call or not.  If not, the call will go to your voicemail. Allows you to talk to two other people at once. To activate the feature, press the flash button or briefly press the hook (hang up) button while on first call.  Then call a 2nd participant.  When they have answered, press the flash/hook button again and all participants will be connected.
    Redirects your incoming calls to another phone number of your choice (long distance charges may apply).  *72 to forward all calls, *73 to disable.  *90 to forward all calls when line is busy, *91 to disable.  *92 to forward all unavailable calls, *93 to disable.  

    Add Visual Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling and Call Forwarding for $9 per month.

    We'll ensure that your phone number is unlisted for a fee of $2 per month.  If you would like your outgoing caller ID information blocked on EVERY call (without having to use *67), there is a fee of $2 per month.
